Matthew 1–2
Old Testament Connections: 2 Sam 7:12–16 · Micah 5:2 · Hosea 11:1 · Jer 31:15 · Isa 7:14
These passages form the backbone of Messianic expectation—promises of a Davidic King, a Bethlehem birth, and prophetic echoes in suffering. Matthew presents Jesus as their fulfillment.
Matthew 3–4
